Johnny Appleseed School Tour

We welcome school groups – educating children about apples, bees, and farming!

School tours are typically offered mid-August through November and are for ages ranging from Pre-K to 3rd grade.  Allow one hour for your tour.

We also have a program for home school groups to accommodate a variety of age ranges.   Home school tours are normally scheduled in the afternoon.

Tours Include

• A walking tour of the apple orchard .
• Johnny Appleseed historical education of his life work.
• Observe honey bee hives and learn about the honey bees.
• Visit barnyard animals.
• Apple cider donuts.
• Teachers will be given apples to take back to the classroom.
• Picnic area is available for after tour lunch.

Tour Information

• Tours are given Tuesday-Thursday.
• Morning tours start at 10:00 and afternoon tours start at 1:00. If you need a different start time, please request.
• Cost is $8.00 per student.  No charge for teachers and parents.
• Minimum 25 students per reservation
• Payment 2 weeks in advance
